PLEASE READ: Yes, I know guns are better than melees. But Im just curious to know what the best melees are.
1) What is the best melee that I can buy with gralats?
2) What is the best melee i can get without event coins (like in a trade)?
Each melee must do at least 8 damage and preferably be fast. Im thinking Captain Morgan's Golden Sword is the best I can buy with gralats, but I dont know for sure.

There are only two melee types, fast and slow melees. All fast melees are the same, the only difference is the damage and perks. Exotic blade isnt really realistic since I don't think anyone has a coin anymore, so the best melee is the Ion Katana. If you don't care about hotkeys/ abilities then all 9 damage melees are as good as eachother
So is the hunter knife good? Its a fast melee. Is it just as good as the katana?
