Learn how to script in gs2 first on the testbed server or other playerworld testing server first. As others have said its a position that requires a lot of supervision for unknown people which is something we don't have the provisions for.
It is very easy for someone to script things that benefit them, give them advantages, break scripts, leak scripts, steal scripts etc which is why only trusted experienced staff get access.

Even our experienced scripters sometimes makes a mistake and then the server is broken/ down until snk is able to come on and fix/ revert the error. Can't have that happening frequently with people who don't really know fully what they're doing, and you can't really expect our scripters to be taken away from whatever they're doing to monitor/ check the trainee scripters work
