Really no point.

Would rather have the developers script some new material for the game (e.g. mechanics, events, quests) rather than spend time on it.

It's easy as hell to script that. Any good scripter could probably script it in around 15-30 minutes

They probably could but its not really a game changing thing, they could focus more on quests/countryside/diggingrewards(if its still a thing)

Yeah true I get what you mean. But surly one of the scripters could take a little break to script something that people somewhat want
