It was midnight. I was told that I was needed at the police station. The police didn't tell me why, they just told me to come.
"Hello," said an officer as I walked in "how can I help you?"
"I'm Ali" I replied "I'm because you guys called me."
"Oh. You. Go to room eight"
"Um... Right. By the way, why do you guys want me?"
"Shut up"
Did I forget to mention Era City has the best police station in the world? They tell you shut up for no reason. Anyway, I did what the cop told me and went to room eight. And waiting for me, was big buff officer. Couldn't this day (I mean night) get any better?
" Hello, you're Ali. Correct?"
"Um yeah" I said "and can I know why I'm here? At midnight?"
"Five admins."
"Okay, what about them?"
"Five admins have developed a new chemical, and you're gonna drink it."
Okay first off, I'm as confused as you are. Second off, I want to sleep. And third off, I kinda wanna drink the chemical. And did I mention I'm sleepy?

I liked it, but you lost me at the ending, you went too far into the thought of the chemical. A small, detailed description would've been intriguing in my opinion.

Try describe what's going on more. Paint a picture with your words. Was it a new chemical they wanted you to drink, or a grotesque vial of bubbling, emerald liquid that started to froth as soon as you popped the cork out of the top?
Not a very good example, but hopefully you get the point.

TRY 2:

12:00 AM

It was midnight, but I couldn't sleep. In seven hours, the greatest spar tournament of my life will take place and I was part of it. I couldn't help but look at the clock every five seconds.
"Six hours and 59 minutes." I said "Can't this clock go any faster?"

Unfortunately, I would never go to the tournament.

"Ring ring" went the phone " ring ring." I looked at the phone. Who'd call me at this hour?

"Hello?" I said.
"Is this AliGamer911?" Asked the voice.
"No." I said. Never tell strangers your name, kids.
"Ali." Said the voice "Stop playing games. We need you."
"Well, I'm sorry but I'm kinda busy couldn't this-"
"Ali! Please! Come down to the police station!"
"Wait! What? Police station! Why do you want me at the police station?"
"Just come to the police station."
I placed down the phone. Got dressed. And went to the police station.

The police station looked as dull as ever. The words Era City Police Department was too bright on the dark bricks, the PD was made out of. And the place looked ugly at midnight. And when I walked in, I didn't receive a warm welcome.
"Hello" said a cop as I walked in, " need any assistance?"
"Yeah," I replied "I was told to come here. At midnight."
"What's your name?"
"Ali"
"I mean full name"

"Go to room eight"
