What gun does have a good quality for basing?

All of those weapons are pretty good in basing, with exception of the Five Sevens. Although they're fast, the low damage can easily be manipulated.
The AA-12 has a decent loading time, fair fire rate, nice spread, and a good clip size considering what you get out of it.
However, when you're shooting, there is a lack of mobility.
The M4 has always been great, I think that I wouldn't be the only one to think that it's an excellent all-around gun.
It takes some getting used to, but once you get it, you'll absolutely love it. It's a pretty flexible gun, you can move around with it, the fire rate is a bit slow, but that's what makes it good in my opinion. But, I haven't tried it since the statistics change, so I'm not sure.
The Default Rifle isn't half bad, but considering the incentives to the gun I'd understand why. After all, you get many free skins. I think its okay, but there's better out there.

Most of these guns look like they're tiered towards sparring rather than basing.

Out of all of these, I would go for the AA-12.

M4 is really awesome, even for basing it feels good to use. Default rifle is statistically better than M4 BUT I have never used Default and I don't know but I doubt it will have that smooth 'M4 feel' because default has faster ROF.
