The once quiet and non-cancerous writer's corner ain't so quiet and non-cancerous anymore.
I shall not put it in the context of racism. However, the fact that using such words as astro noob is a term that is discriminatory, discriminatory to those deemed weaker or lousier and this is a form of ill-intentioned name calling that I find particularly disturbing because it's really uncalled for and in fact, I'd say it's a form of bullying.
It's not something everyone will take lightly. It can be laughed off as a joke, but it can ruin someone's day.
I know it's not really considered racism, but I'd say it's more of a discrimination in the community that I feel should be avoided as much as possible - at least for those who mind it.
The fact that bulletzone highlighted players using the term on others out of anger just suggests that players are using the term as asubstitute for some sort of vulagrity , with obvious bad intentions such as perhaps to put down, despise, make fun of, degrade. I really have to agree with bulletzone on that statement.

See, I don't get it.
The core of your argument is basically a buffer against our argument of: "Most people don't really feel anything/ emotionally hurt when being called a 'noob.'"
Your argument, on the other hand, is focusing on the group of people whom we consider the minority of this particular situation (feeling-wise) and saying that it's a much larger playerbase than our majority.
Fine.
But the fact of the matter is, neither you nor me know who the minority is in this situation.
You can literally argue that children in Africa who play Graal are the ones that are being negatively affected by the term but you don't have the data to prove it.
You want to argue about population domains?
Get some evidence and hard data.
