I wasn't trying to insult his art work. I was literally asking a honest question: Is this thread a joke? (You know those threads. They start off talking about favorite animals or drawings then just completely troll everyone)

You should start by using references, it helps a lot. That's how I started at least.
With time and practice, you'll be able to pull out some draws such as this.
