Yeah, I'm trying not to give anybody an advantage though.
The assumption is that, the gangs who placed in 6th are more equally matched to the other gangs who placed 6th; 5th with 5th, and so on.

Then it would provide the teams time to get acclimated to the feel of the map with somebody that is more at their level =D

I find this dumb, if 5th vs 6th, 1st vs 4th, this set a very bad example in the future, everyone will try to be 1st and 5th but not 4th, this policy sucks

I vote randomization.

If gangs knew ahead of time that it would be seed vs seed they would of purposely placed low, its basically a free path to semi finals when you really think about it.

On the qualified gangs, no ones at the same level. Bling and MegOrb are in no way on the same level. In a competitive tournament it's not right giving "equal" matches to all the members because you're getting big gangs getting slapped first round and weaker gangs getting farther than more hard working gangs. It's not fair for a gang to show up last second and qualify and end up getting a free pass to semi finals, that not how it works. Wario and Tetris worked hard and are both 1st place gangs so why should they have to face each other first round to just throw one of the gangs hard work away. All gangs should at least have some kind of opportunity based on how hard they worked, I hope you understand Meph.

Voting should be up to the GST qualified gangs anyways. No use in getting others involved when they aren't even participating in the event.

Seems fair enough. Only thing I dislike is the "1st place GS plays 1st place BB and so on" I feel that higher placed gangs should play lower placed gangs.

For example this should be the placing.
1st Place GS vs 4th Place BB
2nd Place GS vs 3rd Place BB
3rd Place GS vs 2nd Place BB
4th Place GS vs 1st Place BB
5th Place GS vs 6th Place BB
6th Place GS vs 5th Place BB

This makes it so the first placed teams have more of an advantage, but the other teams still have a somewhat fair chance
