Ion Carbine or Ion Pulse Cannon

Right now I have 91.2 ec's I'm a half time pker and a half time spar(Complex) I what a Ion that can do both I was thinking about getting Ion Cannon but one of my friends told me you an use it in Complex.I has seen many players such as Esca,Xur Rodere,etc. Use Ion Carbine they look pretty good I need a real Gun Expert to solve this problem.

I have both... you can't pk and spar with both.
Pk=Ion Mini
Spar= Carbine
Nothing in between

Well I mean you can pk and spar with both, but you just have to get used to it.
