ik I'm late but you're all wrong, the knife that comes with mp5 is the best not from my opinion but because it's the only melee that's stacks... butter knife used to be stacked but they nerfed it. If you don't know what stacked means, basically it's like pbp and can immediately damage the player repeatedly after they died without any delay... hard to explain to just ask Kiro (Mou) to show you...
Mp5 melee is the fastest bec of stack, but renegade is a 10 damage saber that heals and deflects and has a spin attack that also deflects bullets.

Gold katana is practically a reskin of the original katana. No stat differences.
Never heard of the "Layerd sabre" but I would presume that it would be the same case here as well.
