Dear Lonely Boy
Welcome to Discord

Dear,
Lonely boy,
Why are you so
Sad?
Distraught?
Confused?
Scared?
Eyes fell into the abyss,
With no guidance.
Oblivious and lost.
What is the boy?
A complete stranger.

Please don’t cry,
Smile a little,
Don’t be shy,
Come with me,
Please look up.
Head up high.
Let’s go somewhere!

And so they did.

The train moves quick,
Faster
and stops.

Welcome to Discord,
Please wait here;
They will come.
I promise, dearest,
Lonely boy.
And so he did.
...
...
And so they came.

Smiling,
No longer shy.
He follows them out,
Looking up,
With his head held high.
Let’s go somewhere,
Away for hours.
Loud, rowdy, and smiling,

Dear,
Happy boy.
Comfortable? Ardent? Ready?
His head nods,
With friends,
Left, right, center.

And so they disappeared into the abyss,

Away for hours.

I can imagine what's happening in this poem, you did an excellent job! =o
But it doesn't sound a lot like staffs, it sounds like an adult helping a child out.
But in staff terms, I can see it as well.
