Global Moderators such as Unixmad are known to access PW's and such through RC.

We use it for many commands. Normally commands that send something to all players, such as freebies. But we can do in game commands via RC as well. Although, yes, it is a way for us to communicate.

From what I was told, you should never just log on to RC but not the game and vice versa. You either need both of them open or none. I just think that unless you are a PRA or Dev, there should be no excuse as to why you are only logged on to RC.
