I'm a dreamer, not a believer.
I close my eyes and I see a beautiful kitchen that with a sink, dish washer, LG touch fridge, and a long table that has the shape of an L.
I close my eyes and I see my family reunited with smiles on their faces.
I close my eyes and I see beauty.
I can picture my childhood being the best.
I can picture my middle school years being productive and attentive.
I can picture my high school years being educated and determined.
I can picture my life being flawless.
I open my eyes and I see the cruel world I live in.
I never asked this life and if I had the choice, I wouldn't want to be alive.
I prefer to close my eyes.
I prefer to live in a fantasy and neglect reality.
I am a dreamer, not a believer.

Be a doer, twice as effective and all the more rewarding in the long run(kinda hyprocritical coming from me but, y'know, "do as I say, not as I do").

Anyway, it was a nice poem, but remember it is often the dreamers with their eyes closed that tend to trip over themselves.

Having your eyes open can lead to many horrible sights, but eyes closed will give you a better life.
Okay but really, you're right. It's just that people do and do and try their best but nothing rewarding comes from it.
They can't succeed after many failures. Then again, I had a senior quote that just contradicted what I said.
