I read about this somewhere it was the Magavox (something).

I don't know if you can really call it a 'console', but it was some cheap airplane toy with a screen in the middle and a controller plugged in. (That was the mark of Kenny's passion for pixel art. If it wasn't for that, I wouldn't be here by now.)
But my first real console was the N64.

According to a quick google search the first gaming console was the Magnavox Odissey released in 1972, it was also around the time when arcade machines became a thing. But tbh the first consoles that were popular were Atari and NES, as well as the gameboy (which was my personal first).
