I, as a level 10 miner whose goal is to reach level 100, think that mining should be buffed.
How, exactly?
Well, with each level, your mining speed decreases by 0.3 seconds.
So, a level 0 miner could mine a rock in 30 seconds,
whereas a level 1 miner could mine a rock in 29.7 seconds.
Pretty simple, right?
Well, once you reach level 95, your mining speed stays the same
at 1.5 seconds per rock even after leveling up to 96+.
I think your mining speed should keep decreasing
until it is 0.3 seconds per rock (which is at level 99 [found by the formula below])
T represents time to mine a rock
L represents the player's level in mining
T = 30 - 0.3L
So, at level 95 (which is when mining speed stops decreasing)
the time it takes to mine a rock is 30 - 0.3(95) seconds,
or simplified as 1.5 seconds.
As of now, the maximum amount of rocks one can mine per hour (at level 95+)
is 2400 rocks, which would earn you roughly 9000 gralats an hour
(the average price of a rock is roughly 3.5 - 4 gralats)
With my mining buff, you would be able to mine a rock in 0.3 seconds (at level 99+)
which would be equivalent to up to 12,000 rocks per hour
which would earn you roughly 45,000 gralats per hour.
Now, I know 45,000 gralats an hour is relatively enormous
when compared to other jobs like Speedy Pizzas (which is
arguably the fastest short-term job in the game)
which earns you up to 3,000 gralats per hour
(if you can make pizzas as fast as I can)
But you have to realize it takes roughly 1500 hours of pure mining to reach level 99,
the level at which you would be able to mine a rock in 0.3 seconds with my buff.
Anyway, what do you guys think? Mainly those who are miners as well,
and ESPECIALLY players who are level 99+ in mining.
