Staff members investigate both players when you submit a report. It is possible you both got warned but you already had prior warnings which resulted in jail.

I didn't call him anything rude I responded to his message by saying "lmao" there's no reason I should've been warned in the first place

There is justice because he is insinuating that a staff member warned him without reason. It would be investigated by submitting a ticket to toonslab.

Anyone who breaks the rules will get what is coming eventually. The best thing to do is report and not use vulgar language back to them.
