When was the freak show item sold?

So i was in the trade tables to day and i saw an item called Freak Show. the guy was selling it cheap so i bought it and its a fake death animation that i really like. But i was wondering when it was added into the game and what for. Heres pics

I can't add pics but the item was added to the Gani shop (and is still there btw) a bit after Gani shop was released. You grab a mysterious plant that leads you to the place where you can buy it.

I'm pretty sure that's a gani sold at the gani shop. Correct me if I'm wrong. It might have been some kind of "death angel" gani that's I was thinking of.

Go to the Gani shop, and look for this plant. Grab it then go all the way up the ladder to find the “Freak Show”
