HK416 Problem

I'm not sure where to suggest this, but I figure Sam probably checks these boards the most.

Can we get a hotfix/patch to the HK416 that has it remember what setting you left the gun on? I feel like I'm cheating when I use spread mode, so I just keep it on scoped but in a raid when I'm bouncing around, healing and meleeing I lose a lot of time resetting the gun to scope when I should just be able to swap back.

You could possibly implement a fix that does this to all guns with multiple modes, such as

- M4A3 (side-switching preference remembrance, m9 pistol memory)

- Glock 18 (attachment, or no attachment)

- Vector (silencer, or no silencer -- laser sight, or no laser sight)

- SOCOM (silencer, or no silencer)

You get the idea.

I don't think it'd be too difficult, just a matter of creating a new flag that trips every time you change the firemode that stores after you've stowed the weapon away.

I've found my way around that kind of stuff. It's actually quite easy. But if you're new to the forums, or Sam's responses, then the answer will probably be no.

Maybe that but also for dual guns so that you don't need to re equip them to dual?

It's so annoying when you have to re equip it.

But I guess that's a disadvantage for using pistols which gives other guns a chance to defeat

I don't think people use the pistols to spar with in the first place. Don't see why this can't be added.

Glock can't be dualed, only has an attachment.

I don't think people realistically spar with the AP7's. P2K's maybe a bit, but I'd say that a majority of sparrers use a semi-auto single gun.

However, the dual "lock" feature would be nice for pking.
