    Ohhh, I just looked up "mashed yams" and that's what it looked like! They were gross so I threw them out. Thanks!

    What??? Yams are good. But i've never tried mashed yams. I'll give you a tip. Buy purple yams, and obviously cook em up, then add some butter to them. Trust me they taste pretty darn good.
