Should I buy the Pirate Hammer?

Hello there! I have made this thread because I am thinking about buying the Pirate Hammer. It is 10 damage and it is worth 50k. Should I buy it or should I buy a gun instead?

Hammer would only be good when meleing , so unless you dont have a 9 dmg mele i wouldnt buy it(8dmg ones like jeni or lephrisword would work too)

I've seen it in action. Not a big fan of it, but you should ask someone that has it to use it to see if you like it.
