Is anybody happy with the GANI on the new items?

So I just picked up the brand new flint spear and it was looking pretty cool, until I attacked with it... For those that are unaware, it is a lazy 3 frame animation where you go from holding, to barely poking, then a random jump to a 45degree angle. Does anybody here like that and the animation for the Steel Slayer Sword? If the GANI team needs help I know a lot of us will gladly sign on, the team just needs to be upfront about it.
