Restarting the server has never reduced lag for me



When they’re working on new things the server becomes so laggy

Restarting server only gives me the spotlight to be on scoreboard temporarily. Doesn't reduce lag for me either lol.

The server has been lagging today because new files are being downloaded to era (The new exotic items). i guess that is why?

Has to be something way bigger than that haha.

Junz/ other admins has no one bothered to contact HW at all?

Does resetting the server fixes lag?

I normally spar 50-100 daily & I can barely stand sparring 10 for the past few days because it all comes down to who has the better lag( luck) & spammier gun cmon man this ain't fun what can you admins can do to fix it?

The lag is probably caused by a new upcoming update / shop as usual

Translation:

1) The server is too bad, and has been for years.
2) They were DDoS'd since they still have no proper protection.l

Nah, the only thing you need to do if there is a DDOS is restart the server - so the IP resets.
But i'm pretty sure that was never the issue.
Anyway - closing because you're not meant to create new versions of closed threads, please don't reopen it, i'm sure everyone's getting tired of the 'when will ex shop open' spam on forums.l
