    It's not being buffed. Doesn't matter if you spent 1m shells on the coin, that is not the price the item is worth. The coin has no gralat value outside of the $500 present it was won off. With or without the mode the main mode of the gun is worth 200k. The laser beam isn't meant to be a chem replacement as some people seem to be expecting. It is a useful defence weapon and shouldn't be treated as the main mode of the gun or else it would have been the main mode and not a hotkey.

    You have an item that at most 25 other people out of everyone playing can get, which nobody else will be able to buy or use besides you. Even if the gun had the stats of the starter pistol it would be worth it to some for that reason alone.

    We dont want chem 2. We want a gun wich we could use in other situatuon than for spam door... the gun hard to use in any situation even in defence.. u want a exo to take base ok guys call x75 armor or inferno or carnage or vampiric staff owner... oh wait its darkmatter ok man go on the door and spam it oh and start to pray for no one sniper will come kill urself. The gun rly too hard to use we r on a game we dont want op gun. Perssonaly i want a ? exotic ?gun something new, funny to play and balanced. first mode is balanced but beam mode is useless and i think only owner of this gun see it...

    First you said the laser would get a buff here and there in it?s usefulness. And now it?s not getting buffed while it?s straight trash.

    And the chem 2.0 statement is stupid. Like we?re asking for that. I don?t need to take a flag fast, I don?t need the most op weapon in the game. But seriously look at damn freeze of the laser while moving. Can?t turn directions nothing. It?s not good for defending anything at all.

    You're literally asking for the most OP weapon in the game when the current stats of the main gun are worth 200k, with the BAR being the best store gun, and one of the best guns in the game in general. Buffing it anymore would probably make it definitively the best.

    Laser already got a buff on the second day increasing its damage, it isn't getting anymore of a buff. If you're complaining about not being able to turn direction or the freeze then you're using the laser wrong. It's not meant to be something you can run around in the open spinning around with the laser active. It's meant for confined spaces or hallways, where you don't need to move much. Or to temporarily block an entrance by using the laser to slow people down from rushing a base (as most people are too scared to run through the laser so instead wait until you stop firing/ run out of ammo, which is a good several seconds). Any other instances, then use the main mode like you would a standard BAR.

    The assault armours main gun mode is almost the exact same as the darkmatter cannon, it having a jetpack means nothing as you can't use the jetpack in combat, neither can you really use the grenade launcher in any instance except over a walls, the same way the laser mode on the darkmatter cannon is situational. For general PKing the darkmatter cannon is actually better as it's 10 damage compared to the assault armour. The assault armour is only good when you are against 10 damage weapons as the damage reduction effectively makes those guns 9 damage, so even against the darkmatter cannon they are still more or less equal as they'd both be 6 shot kills against each other, with the only real difference being the armour has a higher clip whilst the cannon has more spread.

    Because it takes flag in 3 seconds if 2 people use it which basically breaks basing.

    it is true that to reduce the freeze will change the general utility of tear. but the fact that the weapon has a charging time before shooting makes it much too much to use and the players are afraid of the laser because it sees the laser as an overpowering weapon but most of the place where the laser this way strategic are generally horizontal which means that perssone passing through the laser receive 6 more or less damage when he understands that he will no longer be afraid of the lazer and will only have the rush and turn around to kill us. so the problem is the charging time before shooting which is too long. I think it would be necessary to reduce this time or add a small percentage of chance of slow enemy hit by the laser for a very short time
