Reasoning for this is because they cannot control discord servers like they do with the forums. They don’t want anyone knowing of the current situation going on. If it really was to reduce illegal transactions they should have censored the word “kik” a long time ago as that is the platform most illegal transactions use.

These developments don't inspire much confidence... This to me seems like censorship for censorship's sake, banning discord isn't going to do anything it'll just push these apparent scammers to a new chat client, which will in turn be banned, and eventually the list of banned words will be ridiculous. Solve the problem not the symptom.
