Uh, yeah, I'm leaving the Forums.
In the past year or so, I've seen the forums turn into a small community that had a lot of fun (even with the administration that was exuberant yet professional) to a place that may as well be considered barren and dystopian.
Look, I'm not going to defame any specific person, I assume that you know who you are. At the end of the day, this community was bound to change, it was only a matter of time. The repetitive threads and forum users that spam the shortest amount of characters that I have ever seen (dude seriously, add a character limit of 10+ characters lol) have also discouraged my use of the forums.
Era-Go has so much potential to be a mainstay extension of the game itself, but the lack of administration (3 mods and only 2 are active) is very concerning.
People who use these forums like we don't have Private Messaging in here is starting to get annoying. New and old users reviving old threads and forum games is discerning.
There needs to be better guidelines and rules on these forums, because things such as the sudden action of restricting Discord links need to be on a bulletin where everyone can access it. I'm not going to be upset about restricting rules, I understand that a lot of these changes that may seem meaningless are actually intended to protect Graal's brand and the player's overall satisfaction. But please, don't leave us out in the loop.
That's really it, I hope these changes occur gradually. I'm planning to be on Era for another month or so, and then I'm planning to call it a good two years and figure out what to do next.
