Plasma coins are earned every 5 rounds after wave 15. To earn those plasma coins do I (myself) need to reach wave 20 to start getting plasma coins or just my gang who needs to reach wave 20? Sorry for the noob question.

You must reach round 15 to get coins. If you died before then, but your gang members make it to 15, they will receive coins and you will not since you died already.
BTW, you get your coins when you reach every 5th wave, for example: you can reach 15th wave and quit and you still will get 2 coins. Same thing works on 20th, 25th and etc. My idea for those who usually get to 20th and receive their 4 coins: you dont have to finish boss and go leave after, you can leave once score board says "20th wave"
