Gang Spar Tournament 2018 Qualifiers - Announcement

What is the GST?

The GST is a yearly spar tournament held on Graal Era iPhone, and consists of one-on-one battles between 16 gangs.

Each gang has 12 members (and is allowed up to four substitute members in the case of one of the members being unavailable).

Each gang progresses through predefined brackets, and fight against competing gangs; when one gang remains, they are crowned the 
winners of the gang spar tournament, and receive a variety of prizes (although there are rewards for lower placed gangs too!). 



How do i take part?

To participate in the GST, you need to qualify by playing Base Battle and Gang Spar (both located within the Multiplex), as only the most skilled gangs can compete.

Qualifications this year will consist of the following:

- The top four gangs from last year automatically qualify. If they choose not to take part, their spot will be turned into additional qualifier slots.

- MPX Gang Spar and MPX Base Battle are the two primary ways to qualify, play these during qualifiers!
- The gangs with the top six scores in Base Battle and MPX GS by the end of qualifiers will participate in the GST. (Six qualification slots for MPX GS, Six qualification slots for MPX Base Battle).



When do qualifiers start, how long do they run for?


Qualifiers have now begun! (10th June).

The period of time they will run for is estimated to be between one to two weeks, however this may vary.



When is the GST?

There is no exact date just yet, however it is estimated to be in late July.



What are the rewards?


These will be announced at a later date! However will definitely be worth the participation.

So if someone is in a gang of like 5 and the other gang has 7 and you win it doesnt ig count or how does all that stuff work like gangs with different numbers? Do they all count or none or?

I'm wondering about both like if in base battle people have more or less same for gs if they have like 5 people other has 2

If a gang has 4 subsitutes but they weren't used will they get rewarded aswell or is it only the members that played in the gst matches?
