    My ?friend? won?t reply?

Hi, my friend whom I first spoke to around May 2017 won?t respond to me, for MONTHS? They?re acting like they don?t even know me, and it?s hurting my feelings. They sometimes message me but then I reply soon and they don?t reply...

Is it because I was annoying due to my autism? I often asked them annoying things and I?m I didn?t realize how annoying I was being.

Oftentimes people with Asperger?s have 2/3 of their chronological age in social skills. So, according to that, I?m basically mentally 12. My mom thinks closer to 13 but yeah.

Why did my friend stop replying to me?

There could be plenty of reasons. The reason could be them and not you

    Hey,

While studying psychology in college for a few years. I picked up on a point that one of my colleagues had presented in a presentation. Their point was, texting on social media can have a different tone of speech to what you actually meant. And sometimes, people misunderstand the context.

    E.g.:
    Me: how? you moron
*Backstory: a person has presented something amazing and I was asking how?*
Them: How dare you call me a moron!
    *Receiver gets blocked by responder.*

These are points you should keep in mind.

Not everyone is meant to be in your future. Some people are just passing through to teach you lessons in life.

    Move on, make new friends!

if they are acting as if they don’t know you then they are not your friend. Cut that negativity our of your life and move on

I definitely do keep those things in mind. I tend to take things very literally and because of that, I tend to use literal language as well, so there’s no confusion of the recipient’s part.

Nah, the person isn’t joking around . I guess I’m just not important enough to them to keep in contact with.

It’s best to cut him from ur life and start again, it’s easy to find friends if you just be yourself
