The context of that sentence is that it's a reference to Vendhin's saying "don't ban me" and a reply about why he said that on his initial post.

I guess it comes off as perverse boasting but that wasn't my intention.

I'm just trying to reinforce the notion that sometimes in the Graal community as a whole, not any one particular server or forum, punishments are handed out that are disproportionate and unnecessary. Particularly in the more recent years where people have been told off or censured for saying the name of other video games or software apps (discord) - I have no strong feelings about that particular issue because I'm not really a member of the Graal community as such anymore but such things would be unthinkable in other video game communities.

With that in mind, you could kind of understand the looming threat of the ban hammer.
