Yeah there's trolls everywhere. To cope with this I think it's made so that changing weapons is not allowed close to the pumpkin houses, but players still take some time out of their gameplay to make other player's gameplay miserable.

Yeah I've talked to a higher staff and they're looking into it, they're gonna try to disable it so that traps won't affect anyone who's carrying a pumpkin.

Snowballs, traps, and pumpkin bombs can no longer affect anyone who's carrying a pumpkin. If there's more that we should know about then please let me or any other staff know. ;D
