Yeah the screenshot is fake.

Anyways the server has been laggy for years now and I think its gotten a little bit better but it's still not good enough. Until something is finally done we're all going to have to be patient

Go into settings
Turn off the following
Gifs, weather, leff effects, day and night probably too, nicknames, try setting your chat too friends/gang only, also try reinstalling the game (then log on, run through era and relog like every 3 mins until after the reinstallment you have been through all of era and downloaded all of its game files, also possibly try a zoomed in screen so your device isn't taking in so much stuff at once which may help, maybe turn indicators off too. But if you're going to something with like 50+ people if that makes you lag, relog before you enter/go there, it has helped me.
