Confused at CNY store Chinese Falchion

Can someone tell me what exactly is a 'Chinese Falchion'. I originally thought falchions were an European thing so I don't understand why it's chinese. Was it meant to refer to dadaos?

"Apple seeds average around 0.6mg hydrogen cyanide (HCN) per gram of dry seed. Since the lethal dose of HCN is estimated to be around 50mg, you will need around 85 grams of dry seeds. This is around half a cup... it requires a lot of apples."

Surely some people aren't dedicated enough to actually Google things before creating the wrong product.

You can call me a critic because I couldn't care less.
Era-Go still has my respect, excluding the game alone.

I don't intend to work for a game filled with petulant staff abusing their authorities.

    It's just a Chinese-themed falchion.

I could tell you got your info off wiki, look in images and you can find Chinese Falchion. It has European origin but Chinese design. Despite it's origin, it probably got spread to China. Obviously they looked it up before making it because unless you look it up, you probably have no idea what it is.

Oh? Let me get this straight, the falchion is an early medieval European single-edged sword. To claim it to be a sword of Eastern origin would be an absolute travesty to all logic.

'Dao' dates back to the Shang Dynasty in China's Bronze Age and terms single-edged Chinese swords; with dadaos (coming from the word 打倒, dǎ dǎo) synonymous with broadsword, large knife, machete. From a historical point of view 'Chinese Falchion' would be an inappropriate terminology; akin to calling a katana a 'Japanese Falchion'.

    Could you cite your reasoning?

This was one of my main criticism. It appears that the Era staff are simply inserting anything 'Chinese looking' into the CNY store, ignoring the cultural significance or importance of Chinese's tradition. With CNY katana/ CNY kodachi to now 'Chinese Falchion, it would be paradigm for Era to scout out a culture apart from China to insert into 2020 CNY store.

Research to the extent of borderline historical/ cultural accuracy? I beg to differ.

So riddle me this, why should the 'Falchion', developed in Europe and used in Medieval Europe, be inserted in an CNY store.
