Certainly true and I believe you can implement the same mechanics to Pizzas, Trash picking, Mushrooming and maybe even the basics of Plasma, Spar and Pk

Mechanics? Like another quest? To be honest, I'd be honored to talk to staff about this, and I'd be even more honored to write more stories, design more characters, and basically draft up new quests.

But staff hasn't even noticed this thread, so let's not get too hasty, you with me?

Yeah I know all this is a huge process and many people can come up with ideas and suggestions

I'm just a guy who loves the game despite it's flaws and wants to see it thrive as soon as possible and I can speak for you when I say you probably think the same

I agree that we're on the same boat in this regard, but as I said before, let's not ahead of ourself, shall we? But thank you for your kind words!

How about instead of getiing 100 tro, they have to pay 100 trochus to get an entry permit?

AND I SAW THAT BOLDED SUBHEADING WHATS THAT SUPPOSED TO IMPLY
A TAX DOES THE BEST ATTACKS ON UNFAIRNESS.

I guess that could work, but that's kinda boring, espically for a new player.

It was just implying that my idea wasn't a tax, that's all.

I think it could actually work if part of the quest involved getting 100 tro and paying those tro to a merchant of some kind for the "key"

Like someone stole the key and is holding it for ransom? Wow, that adds a new depth to the quest, but in a game like iEra, people are going to question why can't just shoot the thief and take the key.

    3. Buy a shovel
    4. Locate the Crab Shack
    5. Dig until you get the key
    6. Return the key to Bob
    (All while dodging PKers)

The quest unconsciously teaches new players:
    1. What shovels are
    2. How to dig
    3. Gives a reward of 100 (allows them to use this amount to grasp what trading is)
    4. What do with crab shells (there's a reason why I chose the Crab Shack)

Excuse my bold claim, but this might be better than the 5 hour rule.
Doesn't sound like that'd take 5 hours at all.
Feel free to ask any question!

The quest wasn't drawn up to be 5 hours long, it was supposed to teach new players the basics of Era's trading.
