Basing System Replacement?

I remember back in 2017 through 2018 Bitzsam would post threads about the upcoming Basing replacement, but I haven’t seen any updates for well over a year when he initially said it would take a few weeks (back in 2017) to implement. I’m trying to raid bases with a 20 hour gang and I was just wondering if anyone has forgotten about the basing update, because here I am, sitting here patiently waiting for this update that was supposed to be implemented nearly 2 years ago.

Iirc, bitz had a vision without as much of a plan. There wasn’t any staff to help with the things he had in mind.

Somewhat of a tangent, I think basing is too time consuming to be approachable by many. I wish there were a short, round-based mechanic toward basing, something can be achieved with smaller gangs and/or more sporadic sessions.

I thought the coding and all of those sorts of things were already finished? They said it would only take a few weeks to implement into the game so I don’t understand what you’re trying to say considering it sounded like they had most of the progress done.

With a dead administrator, it is unlikely that the grassroots will remember one day, but look on the bright side, new weapons will be implemented at the end of this month in the gang shop and that will revive this a bit.
