Thread: Nerf Ideas for the Overpowered Chem Gun

    I just notice chem has many indirect nerfs from the past 1 year im gone , indirect nerf 1: other gun damage buffed, chem users can now die easily and faster even with 3 players with 50k gralats like m4 because of 10 damage. Indirect nerf 2: the respawn hit timer you can now easily escape after dying 1 time from chem.

    ok how about this:

    Name - Chemical Gun
    Freeze - 0.9
    Firerate - 0.07
    Spread - 0.80
    Clip - 50
    Reload - 1.5
    Bullets - 1
    Auto - N
    Stacked - Y
    Explosive- 50 percent chance
    Special Feature: Able to be converted to a trashpick to pick up trash and can also be used as a melee dealing 6dmg per hit with a 50% chance of burning opponent because of the chemicals. The gun will also have special angling feature allowing the user to select the angle at which the bullet is fired (up to 90 degrees) BUT the spread remains the same regardless of which angle is selected.
    A TAX DOES THE BEST ATTACKS ON UNFAIRNESS.

    That seems like something a 9 year old came up with. and with the stats you came up with, it is NOWHERE near being 200 ec

    200 ECs is just a statement.

    When you hand over 200ECs, you are making a statement of how badly you want that item that you are willing to pay 200ECs.

    The price is a wall that stops people from wanting it badly enough. It is not an indication of what you are getting.

    Think about branded bags. They are priced highly but the materials used to make them and all its production costs probabaly just a fraction. The rest of the price goes to profit. Similarly, CGs are should be considered a luxury good because only a small handful of players have it so the price should remain a statement of how badly they want it, not for the stats.

    The gun isn't even that bad, in all honesty. The only field in which it was actually a problem was sparring, and if I'm not mistaken it's banned in that.
