Well, the reason I said katana...

HW dagger is just like a hunter knife and kiwi blade- which means a worse hit timer than katana.
Lightsaber is basically a katana, with a different look and the spin. Not worth the effort.
Double lightsaber is basically the same as the saber- different look, a spin feature. Again, not worth the effort.
Legend is pretty good for things like basing. You can heal yourself and gang members. The drawback is the 8 damage. It's good for playing more defensively, but katana wins offensively.
Chaplain dagger is like the HW dagger, powerful, but ruined by the hit timer.

If you plan on using things in bases, I'd say chaplain or legend. For showing off, HW dagger, saber, or double saber. For all round uses, katana.
