For a starter, I got to say that's a pretty nice melee. Although it doesn't have the ways of attacking looks.

Yea, ive noticed that a lot of people who show their items saying it is their "first" usually mean it's their first good one, not the literal first

cool for a first. Here is an edit and some cc. Ok The shape of the orb is jagged. Also for such a small image the color count should be reduced greatly. The staff part of it is also very flat. Hopefully this helps

Ehhhh no. I think this is the best shading I've ever done. Im pretty good at GFX, but if there is one thing I can improve on, it's definitely shading. :P

Thank you so much for your input! I reedited the melee and will definitely be using this advice (btw your shading is AWESOME, no wonder you're delteria GFX admins >.<)
