I agree there should be some sort of way to show off your mining level, maybe a plaque that you hold up like the hours ones? They would change per level you get. I think this would be a great initiative for people to start mining?

The higher your drill, the faster it will go. Like Snake said, they don't want a lot of people at once mining a rock every second and only doing that job.

Then do another job? I mean there are other jobs that give you money faster than this, but in the long run this would be the best choice. Not everyone will have patience with this, because all you do is just stand there and tap a button.

I have to break up the work, I aim for about 100 rocks a day.

Uhh, good idea, but probably not... Mining is meant to be a slow process and probably shouldn't be changed again. As snk has previously said, mining is not meant to be automatic, but instead a slower process of gaining gralats. (rephrased).
