Alternatively you can press CTRL+SHIFT+ESC which brings up task manager, you can then end the process which I believe for the editor is called "RPG online game application file".

You can permanently solve this issue by doing what Torankusu said and deleting the file named FILENAMECACHE.txt which is located in the same folder as your editor; this worked for me anyway so hopefully it works for you too!
