I think they are fine as is
Everything you spend money on is useless. You don't "need" anything but food, shelter , and water.
If you care about having a life then take your time to get money nobody says you MUST dig "continuously"

I don't know why you're complaining. Money is fairly easy to earn as I have earned 1k each hour by trash picking and mushroom picking at the same time. But car missions are by far the best money source until people pay for money. Also prices shouldn't go down because what about all those other people who had to earn extra for customs? They would be rather enraged and I wouldn't like it if prices went down and i bought a custom for full price. Think before you make these posts as they are pointless.
For me getting customs are fairly easy.
