    It's so you can't fill the street with un-passable bullets. You simply can't hop around with a minigun. It's 85 pounds for crying out loud.. Maybe the slow effect could be decreased a little, but the mobility should never go back to where it was before the nerf.

    It was changed back a little. We can finally have mobility again when not shooting, but they decreased the slowness while shooting just a little but it's not how use to be so it's should be fine for both sides now.

    No it was put back to normal. I've tweaked it abit more, it's now 3 damage like it originally was, the slow movement is still there but ONLY for firing, you can now tap fire with the gun without being affected by the slowness. The spread was also slightly increased.

    The reason for this change is like i've said before, the minigun was intended to be a defensive basing gun. Meaning you aren't suppose to be moving anyway whilst using it to block off corridors. I liked the slow down movement because as others mentioned, you are using a minigun afterall, and they're not light to carry. The only reason I gave the gun 0.1 freeze is because anything higher didn't allow the firerate to be what it was, if i could change it I would have made the freeze 0.16-0.185

    On its own the minigun isn't that op, and it is mildly managable, however due to the increase of players buying it, it has messed up the momentum of overworld pking. I will admit that I didn't expect so many people to buy it so quickly, as with the bar it took more than a year until about 50 people owned one, but because of this just running through start you will encounter 2-3 bullet walls which is almost impossible to dodge, even harder if two people are in the same gang using the minigun. My secound mistake was giving in and buffing it to 4 damage after everyone complained it 'sucks and needed a buff' because that contributed to them being a problem.

    Please read what I said, I hate it when people just skim and then make a complaint when I have already addressed their complaint. And what I hate more is the overreaction of changes, the slow running effect didn't even effect anyone but streakers since I was still able to go on killstreaks of 8 everytime I died without healing whilst being in the middle of lethal, which is pretty hard to do with almost any other gun.

    i hardly see anyone moving with it anyways, these cry babies are extremely selfish whining over a small change (well it's small enough compared to how you can 500-600 streak without any effort at all in such a short time period) i can't believe these people complain so much when it's obviously overpowered. honestly i found it pretty cool having it move slower during fire

    The fact that YOU keep trashing on us is enough calling us "crybabys" is just rude. You may be new, but you haven't been here long enough to understand what is going on. I'm happy with these changes Bitzsam and if you read what I said I already stated that I liked the slowness of the gun while just not the after effect so it's all good. I completely understand what you mean. I'll continue using it anyway for streaking.

    How can it be defensive when people can just rush right around it and actually rush into it spamming a bar? Sorry but this still hasnt resolved anything. It can be slow movement with 4 damage or fast movement with 3 not both. You have made this into its 2 damage predecessor. Worth less than half the 200k.

    I will continue to use my Bar for basing it has much more defense capability than a mini now. My advice is to not release any futher weapons that can generate unbalance in the game without extensive testing, or even sell it to the public for that matter.

    Planetside 2 has a room to test everything before buying, and even then every weapon is balanced before sold. I see why Era won't get a system like that however. It isn't because Uni now not stefan doesnt want it, but they want to be able to sell hollow weapons to be nerfed so they can sell other hollow weapons. That are deemed "too strong"

    Try taking charge of his role before insulting a staff.
    He has his priorities and this is a privilege to do something that's actually helping the game.
