Differences between Flame and Water/Electric staff?

I needa know some information for these weapons.
They both have quite the same speed and are alike.
Just wanna know the differences between these 2 EC guns.

Electric staff shocks people. Water... IDK. nobody bothers buying it, but if I had to guess, it would either posion or knockback

The only real difference is that lightning shocks. I don't believe water has an ability, but if I had to guess, it would probably be knock back. Other than that, its just aesthetics

I can confirm that the water staff has NO special ability. That's all I have unfortunately, not sure about dmg or clip.

Okay just to clear this up. The water staff IS NOT a gun. Therefore it has no clip...

The Lightning staff can be used as a melee and can also shoot lightning bolts fairly fast.
The water/fire staffs are fairly fast, good for taking flags during bases and can heal you fairly fast too.
