    Blackjack/21 -Skill

First off, let me say I don't promote gambling in era, (Even though there is a casino)(that nobody uses)
But I have recently been playing a lot of blackjack on my phone online.
Coming to the realization there are some actual techniques to winning blackjack.
I figured it couldn't hurt to add another skill event to era. How I figure this would work is a room similar to trivia. Except you make a round table in the middle. The cards would be dealt by players grabbing the table followed by a popup of what cards you have in your hand, with options to hit, stand, or double. (Thinking of an interface similar to when you purchase items from a store)

There would be a screen in which it displays the dealer (admins) hand. Similar to the trivia room. Two decks of random cards would be used to host a larger number of players. After every player has taken there turn (within a set timer of 20 seconds, otherwise kicked) the hosting admin plays their move. Those who win that round will win 1 event coin piece. And there would be 3 rounds. With a maximum earning of 1 event coin. However if you lose a round. You also lose a piece. I figured multiple rounds would make the event not so short. But not too long either. Similar to the trivia room. The board would count which players have how many pieces. And at the end of the event you receive your winnings. That is one way I figured it could possibly work. The OTHER option would be 1 winner. Who would reach the full event coin first. (first to 3 pieces). and this option is probably the better one. It would be really fun for some older players who are tired of events like toilet grab and capture the flag. (Just examples.) And I haven't fully figured out the details. But you tell me, would this be too difficult to script? Or just a bad idea altogether. If you support this idea feel free to expand upon better ways for it to be hosted. If you disagree. Just say why. Either way I still have blackjack outside of graal. And if the idea of gambling is the issue. Just call the game 21. Let me know what you think. Nobody posts in the event ideas category. So I decided I would think of some.

    Different...I like it.
Children wouldn't know how to play this game.
One event piece seems to much so how about chips you win chips like 5 each round(if you win), and turn(30) in for a event piece.

Would the chips be kept in the inventory or something like that?. And afterwards an Npc within the event house which rewards event pieces for 30 chips any time you have them.

This idea promotes gambling as it is.
Now, kids would buy in game currency for USD and spend it all on the casino.
This just shows them the "great luck" they have in Gambling and they'll "use" that luck in the future.
Even though there's already a casino, heightening the win rates will only promote it further.

Sorry, I know you didn't mean it but...

But this is events. Where you can't simply buy your winnings. I see the issue with gambling. Trade tables and giving gifts this time of year promote gambling all on their own. Not being negative just had to remind you this is all done in an event. You wouldn't be able to use any sort of currency to increase upon

How does trading and giving other people gifts promoted gambling?

It's not the actions that make it that way, rather the community. Trading can be considered gambling or haggling for better or lower prices . That's where I say the gambling part of trading comes from.
