The hat rule and what is and is not acceptable was in place well before I was staff so I would be guessing at the reasons behind some of the rules. To me if we sell something in-game, it is pretty obvious why we would not want to allow it free on customs. Some of the smaller bandanas were allowed in compromise I think and because we did not sell something entirely similar at the time.

Yes Simplest, your complaint did get to snk and he reviewed the rules again. After a discussion with the management team we deemed the way it was worded caused too much confusion and it was not really feasible to search logs for each upload date so we opted to amend the rules. The change was not personal on you; however, it was the catalyst for additional discussion and decision.

I was told before by keuronako that the rule was in place to prevent gang hats from being used. I don't see why the upload admins can't just look at the head and see that there is obviously no gang hat on it.

This is one of those fun to abuse(for lack of a better word) rules. I have had countless heads with hats that are fine because they aren't in era ;j

similar? yes its similar in some way but what do u expect glasses to look likes thats the only similarities on my glasses and the glasse era sells

Simplest "glasses" is not even close to how era has them on sale(shades).
Their just big, but not covering the eyes of it or any black pixels on. It's just the shape of a glasses- there isn't anything on it other than that.
"Hats on heads", that's one small step of unacceptable custom.
