I had two accounts, with 100 presents each.

I got one free present from each account.

In total, I got 2 ec's from 200 presents.

Ohhhh, sorry I didn't read it correctly at first. And yeah, I had about 200 presents total but only got 1 EC. =(

That's besides the point.

What he's saying is that there's really nothing fundamentally different from a $500 present v. a $300 present with the exception of a very very low chance to win something that we have no idea will be decent/ fun to use/ cool.

Well, for me at least, it's worth buying the $500 presents. Yeah, you have a slim chance of getting something good, but it's still a chance nonetheless.

Like, a scratch ticket irl. Would I rather buy the $1 one with a chance to win up to $10k, or would I rather buy the $3 one with a chance to win 50k? Obviousky the $3 one.
