So. I went to the trade tables one day and picked out this beauty, the Valentine Daggar (val-in-TEEn Daggar) it's okay, it looks nice, it goes slow. But on NPC's it does 7, judging by that it does 7-8 damage in PK right? It has two modes, (as shown in the pics) they don't do much but the visual appearence, but meh. Anyways what's damage of this beauty?

Looks don't matter. Even a blitz hammer deals 9 damage and knockback.
Attacking an npc will shows it's correct damage, but using a gun at an npc will show 1 damage lesser.
