    Laptop sound problem

    So whenever I try plugging in my earpiece, it doesn't detect it which is weird :/ this works yesterday though.

    I don't know how to fix this I already tried searching on internet but I STILL DON'T KNOW HOW.

    PLEASE HELP ME ;-;

    By the way, my laptop is windows 8.

    Earpieces have an expiration date. Does the actual laptop sound work?

    I have had weird experiences with third-party audio daemons such as Realtek interfering with native tasks such as using earphones / ear buds. This sounds like a potential driver issue or an issue regarding a third-party audio application interfering.

    Have you installed anything recently? Do you normally see something pop up (EG: a Realtek interface) upon inserting your ear buds into your audio jack that hasn't been popping up recently?
