This weapon would be a mech type cannon attached to your arm. Then when you triger it,a wide purple beam is sent out. Hold the attack button to have it do damage.
Each half second in the beam does 5 damage. So it will take 10 seconds in the beam to kill them.
But not only does it cause damage,it heals you as well. Every 5 damage sapped,you get 2 HP.
This weapon could be bought for about $6-8k.

I think you already know what we're gonna say...
1st problem:
I don't think Gangsters walk around with Samus blasters on their arms(fails to fit Era's theme).
2nd problem:
Does the beam ever stop? If not then I can just have full ammo and spam down the hallway for aslong as my ray would allow me. Get wrecked.
3rd problem:
The aspect of 5 damage every half second is a little over/underpowered if you ask me. I can easily just take 1 charge through that beam and come out ok but a constant wide beam that deals damage every half second...? no
4th problem:
It's price. A weapon of this style would easily cost around the same price as the minigun or cost ALOT of Ec. 6-8k leaves this as one of the cheapest and strongest guns in the game. Sorry sir, but no.
Overall the whole idea is a get wrecked concept with a big OP on top.< Idk, I'm bored.

I personally like the idea, but I'm sure Zone would do much better with it. I suppose it could overheat after a few seconds as well. This would also actually take just 5 seconds to kill a player with full health, I think that if you'd want it to take 10 seconds, make it 1 dmg every 0.2 seconds.
