badbutt, I like the top one more, I wouldn't recommend doing the inverted graphic on the second one, although it is a unique style, I think maybe you can improve upon it. Like connect the white spaces with another colour, it looks like the BAR is falling apart or something. Connect it with a gadget piece or some of the sort.
