Give players something to do so they don't sit around at start park all day. Events, auctions, and gang spars are great for temporary relief, but if you release some content that people have to work for instead of buying gralat packs, then the riots will be ended or reduced to a much smaller scale.

I can agree lets hope that the pk/spar guns and hats are a mere step of what's to come. Items and rewards should be given for each job ex. Amount of shells dug, trash picked, mail delivered, mining items. All specific to the job.

An anti riot group patrolling around would be good I think.

That can end in three ways:
1. A completely good idea that stops all riots (unlikely)
2. Noobs In armor with big guns READY to FORCE us to behave(likely)
3.complete rebellion against the admins (possible)

Admins I have options available because I saw this coming:
1. The task force was one of my ideas thanks for being faster than me sir Murd3r
2. Admins giving up and surrendering to the rioters(not recommended)
3.Fix era's economy! Lower gun prices,item prices etc.,charge more for under priced stuff(don't plz xD)
4.Give then what they want!
5. Start an era full on rebellion xD

What my mind is making me type:
Prevention is better than cure. We must stop the riots before more people join in. There should people like the Riot Police who will patrol certain parts of Era and if there are maybe 3-5 people planning to start a riot, they must contact higher members of staff immediately so that it would not expand. They will be normal players because normal looking players are not easy to detect that they are connected to a branch that prevents riots. I got that idea from on duty police without their uniforms on to easily capture and jail the criminal before they run. Normal looking players who are actually members of that riot prevention group would ask them what they are doing and so if they share their plan, the riot police will contact staff immediately.
